EVENTS IN SPRING OF 1974
Karen and her friends had helped me get off the street that winter, they were living at a big house in Belmont. My father
was trying to interfere with my life at that time also. I already was planning to go live outside established society, and I
had found out I couldn't be accepted in France at that year. So I decided to visit Canada and see the West Coast.
When I started hich hiking from Evelyn's apartment, I got a ride to White River Junction, and took a bus to Montreal. My
father tried to follow me to make sure I didn't become independent, I think. He told the Canadian border guard that he
was on a secret mission, and that he shouldn't let me into Canada. When I took the train to Vancouver, I think he had
Rhinehart follow me. I'd have to have it investigated to know for sure what was going on. In any case, all my plans got
ruined when I took a fall in Yosemite and could bareley walk for several weeks. My money ran out. But Lark was
following Rhinehart, who was following me, and it was in this state of affairs that we got married. She lamely decided to
"let me do anything I wanted." That August I met Lark's brother near the Oregan border. The two of them and my father
caught up with me by Kalamuth Reservoir, and Lark screwed my father instead of starting our marriage, she's just
impossible.
